I had a rhinoplasty around 6 months ago, and a few days ago I noticed a circular dent on my nostril. I have also been very dry in that area before the scar appeared so I don’t know if I’m dealing with some sort of infection (staph infection?) or if I’ve simply just gotten a scar from maybe scratching that area. I've had some strange excessive discharge from my nose too for some time, it’s clear and slimy. I started noticing it after a recent flue so I don’t know if it’s related to the dent.

When you consult with your surgeon, I believe it is sufficient to state that you do not want your radix to be raised. If you're dorsal it nasal implant is fashioned and positioned properly, there should not be a problem. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
Hello! Thank you for your question.
As far as I can see from your photos for this, a detailed examination is absolutely necessary and I recommend you to be examined by an ent doctor as soon as possible.
It would be better face to face consultation.
Best Regards!
If you are not satisfied with the explanation of your surgeon, I would suggest getting a second opinion from another reputable rhinoplasty specialist. Generally speaking, somebody's nose is close to their final result at nine months postoperative. Wishing you well moving forward. Sincerely, Dr....
