Could I achieve my desired results with a rhinoplasty? (Photo)

Question

I am interested in rhinoplasty. I have always admired Golshifteh Farahani's nose and would love to achieve a similar look. We share the same heritage, and I believe her nose would suit my facial features well. Its similar to Cindy Kimberlys nose from the front but the side has a higher& straigter dorsum. Who can help me achieve that dream?

Based on your photo, you appear to have an over projected nasal appearance. That means that your bridge and tips sticky out a bit too far. It is impossible to have somebody else's nose. Adjusting your nose should be straightforward. Narrowing and keeping a straight dorsum with a fine rotated tip is certainly achievable. It should take about one hour and you'd have a cast on your nose for one hour.

As far as I can understand from your question if you can send your own photo from the side and front profile at 95 degrees in good light, it will be possible to make an accurate assessment.

Thank you for your query. It seems that the first picture is your own, but all three picture are at very different angles. However, the kind of tip and dorsum you seem to be looking for may be achievable, if you have a similar bony structure and the skin of the nose is thin. Better pictures and 3 D reconstruction should help. Please find an experienced board certified Plastic surgeon who can examine you  and help you with all your concerns. All the best!

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you are a great candidate for Rhinoplasty. I never recommend using celebrity photos. You should only use goal pictures from your surgeon’s own work.   I highly recommend that my patients focus much more on real longterm before and after photographs rather than 3D imaging.   I encounter so many patients in my practice who see me for revision rhinoplasty who previously had surgery elsewhere who feel like they were mislead into surgery by surgeons who relied heavily on 3D imaging without adequate real before and after pictures to back it up.  Photoshop is easy but real surgery is very different.

I always recommend that you carefully evaluate your surgeon’s online before and after gallery on their website for both quality and quantity of results. Make sure that there are hundreds of real before and after pictures which demonstrate long-term follow up results. If your surgeon is posting mostly on table results without real long-term follow up results, that is usually a major red flag.  If a surgeon is posting mostly just splint removal day videos without longterm follow-up pictures, that can also be a red flag.   Long-term results are much more meaningful than on table results or 1 week post-op results.  With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
