Had a filler (name unknown) in my cheeks about 4 weeks ago. Want to add radiesse for more fullness. Can two fillers (one of which will be radiesse) be used together in the same area?

Answer: Combining fillers In general, fillers can be placed on top of each other but I usually avoid using two different fillers in the same area on the same day. If there is any problem, you would not know which filler was the problem. Radiesse is often placed deeply in the cheeks to provide structural support. The one downside to Radiesse is that it cannot be dissolved if needed, unlike HA fillers such as Voluma or Lyft. Make sure that you are seeing an experienced physician injector.Regards,Dr. Ort

Answer: Combination fillers you certainly can have a filler injected over the Radiesse for a fuller look more quickly. this is very common and not a problem but be sure you are seeing a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon
