It is both safe and standard to use different types of fillers during the same session. There are fillers that work best for certain parts of the face, and a specialist will know how to use them accordingly for the most natural look. - Dr. P
I often use multiple fillers and layer them to get the best outcomes. I suggest you see a facial sculpting expert. Dr. Emer.
Both Radiesse and Voluma can be injected at the same time. However, they should not be mixed together or injected at the same site. However, both dermal fillers achieve the same results. It is better to choose one or the other for treatment.
Of course you can get both Radiesse and Voluma together, but why? all you are doing is spending more money than needed. see which results you like best and which your doctor is most experienced with and stick with that
This is a most interesting question. Of course one can have both, but the bigger question is why? Both fillers accomplish the same goal. They are subcutaneous fillers--injected beneath the dermis. In general, I do not like mixing fillers in the same plane (the same spot in the skin). I have no problem using Radiesse in the subcutis (under the dermis) and Juvederm for the dermis. So, in short--it is safe, but if you chose Juvederm Voluma and need more, then have more of the same product. Next treatment you can consider using Radiesse if you would like to try something different.Good luck!drbader
Yes, but it depends where. You need a experienced injector who knows where and when to best use each product as they are different and have pros and cons. However, placing a variety of fillers is done often to achieve optimal results, but it depends on the area of focus and the depth of injection.
In my opinion it's not wise or safe to inject two different fillers in the same area because of possible adverse chemical interaction. I recommend injecting the same filler again or consider alternative surgical treatments. Seek consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.
Radiesse is a stimulatory filler that is an excellent option for patients who desire a longer-lasting filler alternative to hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. In our office, we use Radiesse to complement structural areas of the face and contour bony prominences. Our office also is a center of...
The calcium component of Radiesse is delivered within a gel medium. The gel gets reabsorbed within 2-3 months. The inflammation process that reabsorbs the gel is what leads sometimes to those painful small nodules. They always go away once the gel is fully reabsorbed. You can improve the ...
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, there is no easy answer. Radiesse cannot be dissolved like hyaluronic acid fillers can be. You may attempt to use intralesional injections of kenalog or 5FU in combination with RF like Venus Legacy to try to break up the filler and have it di...
