I hope to pinpoint the cause and make my face more symmetrical. I haven't had any severe trauma to my face and I'm still fairly young. I think it's due to genetics but I havent seen a family member with a similar problem.

Answer: Treating lip asymmetry with filler You have a minor smile asymmetry which I think is within normal limits. Personally, I would not try to correct it. However, if it really bothers you, expert placement of a small amount of filler may help with the lip asymmetry.

Answer: Addressing an asymmetric smile If you're happy with the size of your lips, I would absolutely not consider doing anything to your smile as it may in fact make it more crooked. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
