Do I need to remove my breast implants? (photos)

Question

Im 2 weeks post op from "breast augmentation" i noticed 2 holes with thick yellow fluid coming out a day after my stiches were taking out. Will these holes heal by itself? Or do i have to get my implants removed? I dont have any syntoms of infection such as fever, pus ,bloody fluid or pain.

It looks like your wound is a bit inflamed, weather the fluid is copious(a lot) would help your surgeon decide if the wound communicates with your implant. If the wound is full thickness your surgeon needs to be advise and he or she will need to determine the best course of action. Good luck...

I encourage you to meet with your surgeon for an evaluation. These small openings can be assessed by your surgeon and treatment started.   She/He can instruct you on how best to care for your incisions and signs and symptoms to look for that are cause for concern.

Just from the surface and the photos it looks like perhaps a stitch abscess, but an exam in person would be more important.

It is difficult to advise on line and your PS is best to examine you. This may just be related to the stitches  and if so this will likely heal with local wound care. Your PS needs to see you though and advise.

Without an in person exam online consultants cannot determine if you have infected implants or infected sutures.  See your surgeon as soon as possible.
