Nose shape for round face? (Photo)

Would a nose job when make me look weird when I have a round face? I'm considering refining the tip (no pointy look) and raising the bridge just a few mm.

Thank you for your question. In your case ı would not recommended any type of surgery for nose, your nose suits for face. you can however have the simple Rhinoplasty for your tip.

A well performed rhinoplasty would certainly not make you look weird. An experienced surgeon would not make your nose overly thin, which would not look good for you. But refining the bridge and tip in a way that looks very natural would be great for you.

Rising nose dorsum for few millimeters would need cartilage graft from rib. This is very particular procedure and should be done by very experienced board certified plastic surgeon with good reputation in rhinoplasty. Tip refinement and lift should be a part of that procedure. Good luck.

Thank you for posting your photos with your interesting question. A rhinoplasty that includes a dorsal (bridge) graft + a shield tip graft would enhance your face. You might also want to consider buccal fat pad removal to reduce the lower cheek volume and would result in a more angular face. In addition, liposuction of the neck would give your jawline more definition. All of these procedures can safely  be done at the same time. Facial aesthetic surgery requires only millimeters  of change to achieve beautiful results.

Hello dear patient,Your face is round because you have extra weight to be lose. If your BMI is higher then 30, you should lose weight first. If you can't do it for long years, you can think about bariatric surgeries. This surgery protects you other diseases in the future. Best regards
