I am 45 years old, 5'6" and weigh 145lbs. I currently wear a size 36C. I am comfortable with my current size, but would consider going slightly larger. My nipples do not point down but would a lift help in this situation? Maybe a lift combined with augmentation? Would it involve moving the nipples? Would liposuction/fat transfer help? I also believe there is asymmetry? Please help. I would like to have my procedure by the end of August. Thanks so very much!

Answer: Lift with augmentation If you want larger breasts, then an augmentation would be reasonable, you also need a lift which will raise the nipples and tighten the skin envelope.

Answer: Breast and arm position. With your arms at your sides, i.e.... not above your head, your breasts would benefit from a lift, called a mastopexy, perhaps with a small implant to restore fullness and prevent loss of a cup size which occurs with a lift only. With your arms held permanently above your head...which I do not recommend to you...and after an exam, I would then recommend your final course of action. Some women who have the breast position you appear to have obtained with your arms above your head, which is slight extra skin but no real droopiness, would benefit from an implant only. Nipples are moved in both cases and fat transfer increases size slightly but does not lift, as does an implant only. Hope I did help you. ( Keep your arms down please.)
