I am a 24 year old woman 5'2 120 lbs. I had an augmentation done one year ago to lift my breasts. I was already busty, just lost a lot of volume from breast feeding. The surgeon said implants were the best way to gain lift and volume. I was already a 32d size, now am a 32ddd and I feel like they're not right. Not only are they too big, and painful, but they do not look lifted. I want to know my options, but am afraid to go back to the same doctor. What should I do?

Answer: I am so unhappy with my breast augmentation. They're too big and don't look right. What are my options? Thank you for your question and pics. Please discuss with your surgeon your options as you have a few. 1. Remove implants and do nothing 2. Remove implants and do a lift at the same time 3. Remove implants and do lift and place smaller implants at the same time4. Remove implants and do a lift 6 months later5. Remove imants and do a lift at the same time and place a small implant 6 months later. best of luck.

Answer: I am so unhappy with my breast augmentation. They're too big and don't look right. What are my options? I agree with Dr. Rand. There must've been a miscommunication between you and your surgeon. You state that you are "busty" but also lost volume with breast feeding. These are contradictory. Maybe you thought you will get a lift and volume increase with minimal to no scars and your surgeon tried to deliver that. If you liked your preop photo, than you would've needed a lift only (trade off is a lollipop scar). At this point, your options are to remove the implants and do a lift only or place smaller implants with a lift. Talk to your surgeon about your concerns or seek a second opinion with a board certified plastic surgeon for a second opinion. Good luck.
