When can I begin massages on my bum after a BBL?

Lymphatic massages may be of benefit, but your massages should be carefully orchestrated with your plastic surgeon.  I have only seen complications like hematoma and seroma due to increased pressure from the massage. I do not recommend lymphatic massage for my patients, because I feel as though if the result is smooth on the table, the result can only be sabotaged.

I understand your concern. It is best that you consult your plastic surgeon regarding post operative care and management (i.e including massage techniques and timing) specific to your case. Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery. Post operative care and management depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used during surgery among other factors.It is best, however, that you follow your plastic surgeon's advice on post operative care management for a smooth and faster healing and recovery. If you don't have contact with your plastic surgeon, consult another board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.
