Had filler two days ago in my upper and lower lips. Have major bruising on my right (upper) conner of the lip.

Swelling and bruising takes up to 2 weeks to improve.  If you are unhappy after, consider reversing the filler with hyaluronidase.  Cannula injections limit complications.  Best, Dr. Emer.

It is common to have some bruising or swelling after injectables especially in the lips. Don't worry it won't go away shortly. Use Arnica gel in the area to expedite the healing process. 

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Without seeing photos or evaluating your lips in person it is difficult to determine what the problem is. Injections of Restylane into the lips do not cause loss of pigmentation. Bruising should resolve within a week. See your injecting doctor in person for detailed evaluation and guidance.Good luck,

 

Thank you for your question. Typically it takes up to 2 weeks for all swelling and bruising to resolve.  Meanwhile you can take Arnica to help resolve bruising faster. If you are unhappy with your results you may the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase. Best of Luck!

Thank you for your question. IN tis case a photo might have been very helpful. Restylane injections do not cause loss of pigmentation of the vermillion- colored portion of the lip. Bruising can appear whitish resulting the vermillion looking pale as well as inadvertent injection of a vessel. Usually with vascular injection there is significant discomfort. I would error on the conservative side and see you doctor to be safe and let them evaluate your lipBest of LuckDrG 

When you say that your lip is "WHITE" I do become concerned about injection into a vessel. If it is truly white I would apply warm soaks and call your doctor right away. If you have bruising and not swelling, warm compresses should help. If you are still swollen then you first need cool compresses for the swelling. A phot would be very helpful to evaluate this
