How long do I have to wait for more filler injections?

You can receive additional injections at anytime after the initial swelling subsides (now in your case). Make sure you go to an experienced injector. I always tell my patients to wait 2 weeks before we can add more filler.  It can take time for the post-injection swelling to subside.  Always seek treatment from a qualified professional.  Good luck!

Thank you for your question.  I recommend waiting 2 weeks after a filler injection before repeating filler in that same region.  The swelling that normally occurs after an injection will usually have subsided by that time to give a more accurate view of whether or not additional filler is needed. 

I usually have patients wait about two weeks before having more filler placed. This usually will allow for the swelling to subside.
