First Signs of Biofilm Infection?

May 9, 2016
Asked By:NoVaFace in Washington, WA

I had restylane injected in both tear troughs by a board certified plastic surgeon. Nine days later, all symptoms subsided. At day 11, I began developing tenderness at spot 1/4-1/2" below injection site with what feels like very minor swelling and tiny lump, imperceptible to naked eye and almost touch. No skin color changes. No other symptoms. Now at day 14. Thoughts? What are first signs of biofilm infection? How long should I wait til I talk to doc? What antibiotic treatment is preferred?
