I'm a 22 year old female and I got my lips done about 6 months ago and got 1/4 syringe of Juvederm. I didn't swell or bruise at all. I'm going in tomorrow to get 1/2 a syringe of Juverderm and am wondering: 1. Will I swell given the fact I didn't have any reactions to 1/4 ML Juvederm? 2. Is it okay to kiss & be intimate 12 hours after the procedure? 3. How can I ensure I won't bruise or swell too much? I don't want others to know that I'm getting fillers done so I want to minimize any signs.

Hello and thank you for your question. Juvederm and steroids don’t mix well so I would wait to the end of your cycle or after to get Juvederm. You risk more bleeding and the Juvederm will wear off more quickly while taking steroids. Best wishes.
