Can I get rhinoplasty after having Sculptra?

Rhinoplasty surgery may lead to temporary cheek swelling, however, I am not aware of any data to suggest that rhinoplasty surgery would affect the appearance of previous poly L lactic acid injection to the cheeks temples and forehead. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Dear cosmeticjunkiex, if the Sculptra is not injected near by the nose there are no reasons to wait, of course every surgeon have his/her own protocol sometimes can decide to wait. If the Sculptra filler was not injected in or around the nose, you should not have to wait ti have an accurate evaluation and surgical plan for rhinoplasty. There should be no need to wait for surgery. Always seek consultation from a Board Certified surgeon. Good luck on your journey!

Considering that Sculptra is injected into areas which will not be involved in rhinoplasty surgery there is no reason why you should not proceed with nose surgery as you want. This should be discussed with your surgeon. Good luck.

In my opinion, you could have rhinoplasty surgery anytime after having had Sculptra treatment to the temples cheeks and forehead. The surgery should not impact the Sculptra results.

Based on the fact that Sculptra was injected in the cheeks, forehead and temple areas, you should not have to wait uintil you have a rhinoplasty.

Keep in mind that following advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you whether you are an appropriate candidate for surgery and exactly what to do without seeing photos and more importantly without examining you, physically feeling your tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history and discussing the pros and cons of the operative procedure would not be in your best interest. Natural appearing results need to be individualized and what is appropriate for one patient is not necessarily the best for someone else. I would suggest that you find a surgeon certified by the American Board of American Plastic Surgery and one who is ideally a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person.

You can get rhinoplasty at anytime, since the sculptra placed in your temples cheeks and forehead will have nothing to do with your nose.

Ultimately, it’s each surgeons decision.
It’s also highly dependent upon where the injections were done.
I’m assuming you had the injections in your nose.
Sculpture can last over two years so some providers may have you wait that lot.
If you have high-quality before, and after pictures than that, could clarify a lot in regards to if your nose is at baseline when this assessment for surgery is being done.
In the end, each provider will make their own decisions.
If you have not done, so already, I suggest having multiple in person consultations with plastic surgeons who have proven track record for rhinoplasty surgery.
