Hello. I recently had a breast reduction (went from about 12G to 12DD) and since the surgery my breasts have dropped their fullness to the lower pole and i feel seem larger. The inframammary crease is also now larger and my breasts feel heavier. I am considering a revision to correct the bottoming out and am wondering whether it is possible to also remove some more breast tissue during the revision (making them smaller) or if such a revision just removes skin? Answer: Breast Re-reduction Can Make Breasts Smaller #breastreduction I have taken care of women who years after their first breast reduction developed what we call "pseudoptosis." This is when the breast tissue sags into the lower portion of the breast skin envelope, and the nippple/areola often will appear to high as well. During a breast re-reduction, we can remove that heavy tissue and excess skin in the lower pole of the breast. Definitely meet with a board certified plastic surgeon to be evaluated.
