Hi, I’m 31 years old. I am 54 weigh like 123 pounds and I recently have this bump on my nose that I haven’t had before. I probably had it for like maybe a year I used to use a face roller the bump is on the left side of my nose and it feels like it’s underneath. You need to know exactly what it is.

Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. The bump is extra bone groth over top of an inwardly placed upper lateral cartilage. This can be improved nicely as well as some tip refining with rhinoplasty. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

A new bump on one side of the nose can come from several different causes, and unfortunately it is not possible to know exactly what it is from photos alone. It may be a small bony or cartilage irregularity, thickened soft tissue, a cyst under the skin, scar-like tissue after minor trauma, or inflammation around a pore or follicle.
Using a face roller would be unlikely to permanently change the nasal bones, but repeated pressure could make a small pre-existing irregularity or soft tissue swelling more noticeable.
Since this has been present for about a year and feels like it is underneath the skin, I would recommend an in-person examination by a plastic surgeon or ENT surgeon. If the bump is firm and fixed, it may be related to bone or cartilage. If it is soft or mobile, a skin or soft tissue cause is more likely.
I would not try to massage it away or press on it, because that can irritate the area. If it is growing, painful, red, draining, or changing quickly, it should be checked sooner. If it is stable, it is probably not urgent, but an examination is the only way to identify the cause and decide whether anything should be done.

The photos suggest a subtle localized fullness or contour asymmetry along the left nasal sidewall, but the different angles and lighting do not show what structure is causing it. A new bump that has been present for about a year cannot be identified reliably from photographs alone. It could represent normal bone or cartilage asymmetry that has become more noticeable, a small cyst or other soft-tissue lesion, prior unnoticed trauma, or another condition. A face roller would be unlikely to create a persistent structural bump unless there was significant injury. The appropriate next step is an in-person examination with an ENT or facial plastic surgeon who can inspect and palpate the area. Depending on whether it feels bony, cartilaginous, or soft, ultrasound or CT imaging may be considered. Avoid filler, steroid injection, massage, or surgery until the cause is established. Arrange earlier assessment if it is enlarging, painful, red, associated with skin changes, recurrent bleeding, or new nasal obstruction. Once the diagnosis is clear, treatment may range from observation to targeted removal or contour correction.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, that your nasal bone at the bone-cartilage junction. It can be fixed if you would like rhinoplasty. Make sure you are going to a surgeon with hundreds of long-term before and after pictures on their website with standardized lighting and standardized backgrounds. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
