I had a Tummy Tuck and Lipo suction done almost 3 weeks ago. For myself I even look worse now and more fat prior to this. My clothes are very tight fitting. I feel so depressed, because I paid so much money and I don't see results. Should I wait a bit longer?

Answer: Body contouring procedures should produce an idea of what has been achieved early on BUT swelling does throw come curve balls as to what you see. Its very common for you to not fit into your old clothes for a while. If your bowels are not working well, its contributing to your look. If considerable fat was removed, you will have a visible result as your healing progresses. So at this point, give it time and continue your follow-ups with your surgeon and let him/her know of your concerns as you progress through this journey.

Answer: Post op 3 weeks Thanks for your question. It is entirely too soon to see final results after lipo/tummy tuck. It takes 3-6 months to see final results due to swelling, so please be patient with yourself. I would advise you to discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon at your next post op visit, I'm sure he/she will tell you to be patient. Best of luck.
