I have very large pores and orange peel skin with deep wrinkles around my mouth and under my eyes.3 years ago I went for a pearl laser, and have since had 6 dermapen treatments. I use Retin-A cream twice a week. Nothing I'm doing seems to help. Please advise what treatments would best suit my problem.

Answer: PORES Enlarged pores can be due to a number of factors including excess oil production, genetics, age, and sun exposure. We find the premier treatment for this is Silk Peel, Clear + Brilliant, PRP combination. SilkPeel (Or Dermal Infusion) exfoliates the outer dermis of the skin along with infusing anti-oxidants. This gives the skin a clean slate and optimize the depth of the laser. Clear+Brilliant is a fractionated resurfacing laser, which improves pore size, pigmentation, and texture of the skin. It can be performed on almost any part of the body, but most commonly we treat the face, neck, décolletage, and hands. Most patients experience minimal downtime and can return normal activities in a few days. Multiple treatments are typically recommended for the best result. PRP (Platelet-Rich-Plasma) is done by drawing the patient’s blood, centrifuging it to retrieve the patient’s own growth factors. The high concentrated growth factors are microneedled into the skin to improve recovery and increase the efficacy of the treatments. Treatments are done once a month for 3-6 session. Always discuss desired outcome with your Board-Certified Dermatologist.
