Hello, hope you are well. The forehead size (between the hairline and eyebrows) can change depending on the browlift technique. A coronal approach can raise the hairline (sometimes that's desired), a pretrichophytic approach can lower the hairline (diminishing forehead size), and an endoscopic approach doesn't really significantly change the size of the forehead. A traditional temporal lift does not make the forehead appear bigger either, but the reason for doing these procedures and the aesthetic goals varies among patients. In summary, there are surgical options to change brow position and shape that have minimal impact on forehead size but the exact plan is determined based on your anatomy and goals.Best,Dr. Tower
Hi, thank you for your question. The best approach for a temporal lift would be the endoscopic brow lift technique (Endobrow) Using this procedure, we can lift and reposition the eyebrow without changing the size or shape of the forehead. This technique is also ideal for younger patients. Using an endoscopic approach, allows us to choose to lift the lateral portion of your brow or, the center portion of the brow. With this approach, we can also do a midfacelift. There are different fixation methods we can use. The options range from endotine to sutures or screws that can be used to fixate the brow lift. The important factor is, that with this technique , the incisions are minimal, well hidden in the scalp, and we have good access to release the forehead ligaments without changing the size or shape of the forehead. In young patients, we can combine this technique with upper and lower blepharo to get the foxy eyes shape.
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello, this procedure don't affect like that. I just perform your temple area and pull up your tissue higher. After the surgery your brow will be lifted. Therefore your forehead don't look bigger. If ı do filler injection or fat injection your forehead looks bigger.
Hello, hope you are well. I assume your right eyelid is on the right side of the photo, and agree that lid appears to be more 'full' or 'puffy' than the left. But more importantly, the eyebrow on that side appears ptotic (drooping) as well. So, you have asymmetric brow ptosis. Before...
Yes, a brow lift could be a suitable solution for your situation. Botox for chronic migraines is often injected in areas like the forehead and glabella (between the eyebrows), which can unintentionally weaken the frontalis muscle responsible for lifting the eyebrows, leading to a droopy or heavy...
I would recommend that you submit pictures for a better understanding of your situation. Brow asymmetry is extremely common. Toxin treatments can help to lower an elevated brow and slightly right a depressed brow but is of limited benefit and duration. There's no "age-limit" per se with regards...
