I'm a 23 year old woman considering Smart lipo om my thighs, upper and lower abdomen, and my flanks/lovehandles. I'm 170 cm tall, and my weight has fluctuated a little between a slightly underweight BMI and a normal BMI. I have certain areas where the fat just won't go away, but I have a slim body. I really just want to tone up, slim down a little and lose a few centimeters around my stomach and my thighs, and get rid of my lovehandles. Am I a good candidate?
Answer: Are you a good candidate for lipo? If you want to know how well liposuction will suit you, I first need to know what you look like. You can get an idea of what you might look like by viewing photos of patients who look like you on the video link, but an accurate assessment would require photos at the very least.

Answer: Smart lipo Dear 232396, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Smart Lipo Smart Lipo is potentially a great procedure for those problem areas, but without photos (let alone an exam) it is hard to render a recommendation in your specific situation.

Answer: Considering SmartLIpo Thank you for your question. The SmartLipo procedure was designed to remove extra fat from areas that patients find difficult to get red of by diet and exercise alone. It can improve your self confidence and make to more confident in your appearance. The procedure requires 2-3 days of downtime and you can be back to doing your normal daily activities in that time frame. The procedure is minimally invasive and can be done with local tumescent anesthesia in outpatient surgical center. I hope that helps you make a decision. Good luck on your journey!

Answer: Liposuction candidacy Making an assessment for Liposuction always requires seeing pictures. I often describe the ideal candidate for this procedure as someone who is “young tight and pudgy” The opposite is also true meaning individuals who are older, have a loose skin and not much fat do not make good candidates for Liposuction. There’s nothing smart about smart Liposuction. What is their assistance offers virtually no advantage over any other form of liposuction. There are only two variables that determine quality results for this procedure and that is the individual candidacy of the patient combined with the skill and experience of the surgeon. To get a quality assessment and better understanding of treating options I recommend having multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons. Delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult and most people including plastic surgeons believe. Results for this procedure are permanent and irreversible. If done poorly people can be left disfigured. To find the most talented and experience provider I suggest patients have multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons in your community who seem to do a lot of Liposuction. Look for providers who seem excited about doing the procedure. During in person consultations ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures. Seeing a handful of tree selected pictures most likely representing the best results of the providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider. An experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 sets of before and after pictures of commonly performed procedures like abdominal liposuction. Continue having consultations until you feel like you found the right provider for your needs. I also recommend reading all reviews on various physician review websites avoiding providers for the new significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews. Lower extremity Liposuction is technically difficult and often does not deliver results the way patients had intended. This is especially true for inner thigh liposuction. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
