Breast reduction on 17 year old?

Question

I am 17 and I have a 36H/38G cup size. I am 150 lbs and 5"2. I have lost about 30 lbs in the last year and my breasts have only gotten bigger. I have very bad back pains and my breasts hurt sometimes when I breathe heavy (after or while I am working out) they also make it very hard for me to do other workouts like running. I have always had big boobs, I was the only person in 4th grade that needed padded bras and I was a D cup when I was 11 years old.

It is not uncommon to undergo this procedure as a teenager with your parent's consent.  Virginal hypertrophy is more likely the cause and a breast reduction should help you.

Yes, a BR can be done on a 17 year old. I recommend reaching your ideal (sustainable) weight
before going forward with surgery because large
increases or decreases in weight can negatively affect your results. Keep in mind that since you are very young, additional surgeries may
be needed in the future if your breasts grow in size again due to weight gain,

More than likely, at your age, your breasts will not continue to get larger. I think it is very reasonable to consider a breast reduction at your age, as it is interfering significantly with your daily activities. There is a small possibility that you may need additional surgery in the future, but I would not recommend delaying the surgery. Obviously you would benefit from a consultation with a plastic surgeon in your area who has done a lot of breast reduction surgeries.
