Small (hard) red lump on nose tip 2 weeks post rhinoplasty, what should I do? (photos)

Question

I am 2 weeks PO, I have an implant inserted to raise the bridge, the right ear cartilage as well as the septum cartilage were also used for the surgery, apart from the above no other procedures were done for the nose. The tip of my nose (slightly toward the left) there is a small lump, it is sore to touch, slightly red and feels very hard (pressure). What is happening to my nose and what should I do? Please help.

It can be infection based on your description but it is too early to tell. Your photo doesn't show whether it is infection or not either. I think if it is infection redness and soreness will get worse. If symptom get worse, contact your surgeon asap.

Having a lump at the tip of your nose following rhinoplasty can be caused by a couple of different things, including infection and implant placement.   Please consult with your original surgeon.

After surgery, the most important thing is to take care of yourself and protect the investment that you have made. With any question such as this, where there is a question of infection, the most important thing is to see your surgeon promptly for a thorough exam.
