Have upper separation diastasis after a tummy tuck done 2 years ago. So dr recommended doing a second mini tummy tuck to go in and tighten them again my question is will my skin stick back or will it be loose since he won't be removing any skin just open and close same spot? I am 97 pounds under 5feet

Answer: Will skin stick back if I do a Mini Tummy Tuck to tighten skin? Thanks for posting your photos. BTW your photos DO NOT demonstrate any upper abdominal muscle separation??? Do you really need a revision of the complete TT? The term you stated is very mis leading. To repair upper recti separation one MYST reopen the TT scar, maybe not the complete length, But muscle release the umbilical again to gain access to upper abdomen to effectively re suture the recti separation. Maybe more consults from boarded PSs are needed.

Answer: Redo tummy tuck Based on your pictures your abdominal wall is a perfect straight be line from your sternum to your pubic bone and I see no indication of redoing muscle tightening. The skin can be re-draped and no further skin should be removed. If you remove a significant amount of skin during the revision then you’ll get a new vertical scar on your lower belly button from where the belly button used to sit. Your tummy tuck looks fine and I suggest leaving good enough alone. Maybe take a look at your before pictures and remind yourself of what you used to look like if you’re not happy with the outcome. Your lateral picture has you with your arms straight up and this is going to change the appearance to some degree. Based on that it is a little bit difficult to make an accurate assessment.
