Typically in my practice I have patients return to full activities in about 4-5 weeks. With your trip being 3 months out from Surgery, you should have a low risk of having a problem.
Recovery after breast augmentation is quite quick in my patients. I would follow the recommendations of your treating surgeon for specifics. Raffy Karamanoukian Los Angeles
3 months is a perfect delay from skiing if your implants are under the muscle. I would still recommend good support during more aggressive skiing. Have fun!!
In my practice I permit breast augmentation full activity after four weeks. However, this is a question that should be answered by your own plastic surgeon.
Three months after a routine uncomplicated breast augmentation you should be fine to ski.
I tell my patients that they need to avoid strenuous exercise for 3 to 4 weeks, unless you are having any kind of a complication, you should be fine to go skiing after 3 months. Check with your surgeon for clearance! Good luck.
I limit patients' exercise for one month after a breast augmentation. That being said, definitely check with your plastic surgeon before confirming your trip! Best of luck.
As long as you have no complications, skiing three months post Breast Augmentation shouldn't pose any problems. With that being said, always consult with your surgeon.
If you were planning to go skiing 3 weeks after breast augmentation, I would suggest that is too soon. At that time, the tissue has partly healed but not fully. I allow my patients to return to full activity 6 weeks after the surgery. There is clearly nothing magic about six weeks, but I have had a patient open up her incision three weeks after breast augmentation during (vigorous?) sex! good luck, have fun and pray for powder! #breastaugmentation
Have fun on the slopes! Barring any unforeseen complications, which are highly unlikely, patients should be able to ski after 3 months. Most plastic surgeons would allow patients to resume full exercising following a breast augmentation after 3-4 weeks. I would suggest that you discuss this and any other concerns with your plastic surgeon who should be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). You have nothing to worry about. As long as there is no vigorous movement of the breasts, laughing or psychological excitement is of no danger.
Looking at your photos, your breasts are completely natural looking and don't look fake at all. My recommendations would be to not change shape or size or profile at all. I don't like low profile implant at all- they are so wide compared to the normal breast width diameter and to short -...
Capsular contracture (CC) is a known but poorly understood phenomenon. We have a whole bunch of theories of why it occurs (inflammation is the leading candidate) but no uniformly accepted treatment which prevents recurrence. Leukotriene receptor inhibitors are a promising treatment when combined...
