Venous Lake. Should I be concerned? (photos)

Hi I think what I have on my lip is a Venous Lake but over the past few weeks it has been very painful should i be concerned? this started about 5 years ago it was just a tiny little dot but the past few months has grown and when its really painful bulges to double its size.I just want to know if i should be concerned.

Surgical removal is an option for this temple vein. I would source the root vein and, if possible, ligate the vein at its base. Surgical removal may necessitate more than one treatment. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
