I want a perkier look. What size implant should I get? (photos)

It can be difficult to guarantee the subjective result of feeling comfortable braless. You have a fair amount of breast tissue which makes this result more challenging. I would likely recommend a reduction with or without a small implant. I frequently incorporate internal bra meshes to provide additional support and longevity in situations like this. Reducing some of your natural breast tissue would be essential to improving the lift and perkiness of your breast.
Seek out a few consultations from board certified plastic surgeons and make sure you see B&A results that are similar to your anatomy and achieve your goals.

While we are only basing our response off of a photo, You are definitely a candidate for a breast lift. A lift alone will get you much perkier. If you then wanted to add small implants in just to create more of that upper pole fullness you could do that combined with the lift. Only adding in an implant will not give you a perkier outcome if anything it will add more weight and create more drooping. You should always meet with an experienced physician for a conclusive answer in person when coming to a final decision.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

From your pictures, your breasts are significantly below the inframammary crease and the areola are very wide.I believe the best option is a breast lift with a smaller implant. This would create a better balance and place your breasts in the normal position.

Hi. Given the fullness of breast tissue that you have, I would recommend either a breast lift (mastopexy) or a breast reduction. A breast lift keeps you the same size/volume, but lifts and reshapes what you already have. A breast reduction does all of that, but also makes you a smaller size, and would also be a good option if you wanted to be smaller. I would recommend consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon with good breast experience to go over all of this with you in detail.

To achieve a breast with noticeable upper pole fullness in you, a surgery needs to be performed that reduces a lot of your own breast tissue, which is then lifted. An implant would also be placed simultaneously to restore size and give a better shape that just a lift.

Thank you for this question and for providing photographs. You are correct in that you require a breast lift to elevate your nipple and an implant in order to achieve full round cleavage which can not be achieved over time with a lift alone. Implants come in different dimensions and you need an implant that fits the width of your chest. While there is a range of possible implant sizes that will fit, you cannot have a very small volume implant with a lift in order to limit your change in breast volume.

To best achieve the look you are describing, I recommend a breast augmentation with implants as well as a tissue reduction, ie reductive breast augmentation. In this procedure the breast is lifted over the new implant and some of your natural breast tissue is removed similar to a breast reduction procedure.

I would recommend a lift with a slight reduction for perky breasts. You have plenty of breast tissue so I would not recommend an implant.

You are an excellent candidate for a breast lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. You do not need implants if you are already a 36 DD.

Hi there, thank you for the questions about breast aesthetics. If you have current implants that are healthy and intact, you can have a lift performed over the implants to get your breast tissue to a higher and tighter position on your chest wall. After healing from the lift, if you desire a different aesthetic from an implant you can exchange implants a few months after the lift. It is typically not advised to exchange for a larger implant and lift at the same time. You would want to separate these procedures to minimize healing risks.
