Ok 6 months post op an anchor breast lift with560cc implants and internal bra mesh. I feel like my right side scar is higher up and it’s making it look like I have bottoming out but my nipples both match.. is it normal to just not have the inframmory fold scars just not match up perfectly? Do they look ok?
Answer: Surgery You look fine. You do have two different breasts, so they will not heal and look exactly the same. "The girls are sisters, not twins."

Answer: Breast asymmetry on the chest wall Most women have a substantial degree of asymmetry of their breast. In regards to position on the chest wall, the left breast tends to sit higher on almost all people, men and women. The left breast typically sits about 3/8” higher on the left side. Sometimes the IMF is manipulated during surgery. That is often the case when large implants are being used. The human body is not symmetrical, and there is a symmetry in all aspects of the body and face. Like I mentioned previously typically the left breast sits above higher than the right side. I generally recommend people avoid using mirrors when taking pictures of themselves. Ideally post with proper before and after pictures that your surgeon took. If you’re going to take the pictures yourself, then either have someone else take the picture or use the timer on your camera. If you have concerns regarding the outcome of your procedure, I suggest you follow up with your provider. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
