Bumps from Lip Fillers won't dissolve - what can I do? (photos)

Question

I had Neuramis lip fillers injected 3 years ago and developed bumps. About 2 months ago I had everything dissolved but the bumps remained. I've had hyaluronidase injected into the bumps 2x now but it remains. Should I get hyaluronidase injected again or have a derm pop them with a needle? Is that safe? What are the risks of scarring? Thank you so much

Many possibilities, if the filler was not true hyaluronic acid then there is no available products to really dissolves it and if the hyaluronidase didn't inject to the exact location it also wouldn't work. And from repeated injection some local scar tissue can also form. I suggest you see a board certified plastic surgeon to examine this in person.

thank you for your question. i would make sure the injector dissolving it is using the required amount of dissolver if they are using too little it will not completely dissolve it. if they contact the product company they will tell them how much should be used and how often.
