42y/o now. Had hyperthyroidism in 2019. Upp lids turned thick-looking, puffy and hooded. Doc said they cld be mild symptoms of TED but couldn’t be sure. Had carbimazole 2yrs to normalise thyroid levels. Levels have then normalised, and though my lids look better aft that, they still don’t look the same as my original lids. Can’t tell if the thick puffy & hooded lids are TED, excess skin/fats, Edema, or ageing? What to do to restore my original upper eyelids?

Thank you for your question. I definitely recommend applying Botox injections at least three to four weeks prior to your blepharoplasty surgery. Also, avoid getting Botox until 4 weeks has passed after your eyelid surgery.
