What could have went wrong, and what can be done to correct my 17 year old eyelid surgery results? (photo)

I got my drooping eyelid repaired around 17 years ago. The repaired eyelid is naturally more “open” than the other when relaxed and is shaped more in a u than a c. I don’t know if ptosis surgery is right because I (already did it and it didn’t work.
