My veneers are too thick and the two front teeth stick out. They look nothing like my temps. They actually look worse. Can they be thinned or do I need to get them redone?
Answer: New #veneers #DrSoftTouch Hello Zoey,It may be possible to adjust your veneers so that they aren't as bulky. However, because veneers are thin, only minor adjustments can be made. If you're unhappy with your veneers, I would recommend having them redone. Make sure that you are happy with the look and shade before they are permanently cemented. Also, it's always important to look at before and after photos when choosing your dentist. They will give you a good idea about what you can expect. Good luck and I hope this helps. Answer: Thick venners Theoretically, they can be thinned out and polished. However, porcelain veneers are usually very thin and baked and polished in the oven for the final shine and color, and once you start to do major reduction, it looses its high polish and natural look . It truly should be redone, especially since it is your 2 front teeth. Good luck

Answer: Veneer Thickness Short answer, they can be thinned and polished to a high shine. My opinion is that they should be redone. One of the things that I like to do is get the patient's approval prior to final cementation. This resolves this issue of whether the patient likes it or not, very simple solution. I also like to send the lab an impression of the temporary so that the lab can reproduce the model. All labs are not created equal, some charge more and quite frankly spend more time and use better technicians. I do not know whether these were discount veneers or full price veneers; it should not matter because the product should be acceptable regardless. Just be aware that a bargain is not always a bargain. If the veneer temporaries were good, then the dentist did a good job, the problem may be the lab. Contact your dentist and hopefully you guys can work it out. Best wishes!

Answer: THICK VENEERS No, veneers are made perfectly on the lab, and they have the proper dimensions, and you can touch them , once they are in the mouth, but you will not have great results.polishing would never be the same .and the thickness is more the diagnose, and procedure done, than nothing, i think you should check with your doctor, what was the previous idea of those veneers, they look long, and they do not look natural.with pictures before and after, its difficult to tell a precise comment.
