Greetings, My front teeth are fused together. Even smiling properly is an ordeal. What treatment choices do i have? is there anything which isnt so invasive? (like veneers) If extraction turns out to be only option, will my teeth be removed from the roots? Is anything else possible? Please help! Thanks!
Answer: Fused upper anteriors A combination of orthodontics and/or bonding or veneers is probably the best choice depending on root position Avoid extractions.I would begin by having a diagnostic wax-up and transferring it by a stent to your mouth. A littele extra time and expense up front can save a lot of problems in the future. An alternative would be to do bonding (diagnostic composite build-up) in the mouth to achieve cosmetics and then moving to veneers. You will probably need to prep the teeth vor veneers, this is not a no prep case.Veneers may be excellent choice. CONTACT NOW Answer: Solution for fused teeth #DrSoftTouch Hello there,I would recommend a combination of veneers and crowns to fix your smile. See a cosmetic dentist for a complete evaluation to determine your options, and always look at before and after photos when choosing your dentist. They will give you a good idea about what you can expect. I would also recommend having a wax-up done. This will allow you to see how your case is going to look before you do anything to your teeth. Good luck and I hope this helps. Follow me if you have more questions.Sarah Thompson, DMDSt. Louis, MO area (O'Fallon, IL)Real Self 100

Answer: Fused front teeth well, the problem with fused teeth, is that now you have a very wide surface of tooth ,and this will make big , wide crowns, the problem you have is that if after root canals, you cannot get the width you want, then you will have to think, about, a combined procedure, it can be root canals, posts and crowns or a orthodontic, distalization, to make everything look more natural.but yes you have a solution, the only thing , that will change is the way you have the roots, and the occlusion.

Answer: Possible Veneers I would have to do a full exam and look at your teeth and x-rays, but veneers can help! They are very conservative in prepping the teeth (if done correctly), and they can last a long time and look great! Make sure you do your research and go to a dentist that is very well experienced with veneers!
