My side profile has been an insecurity of mine for many years, my chin, forehead, nose, distance between my eyebrows and hair etc… what is making my face so unbalanced and what can I do to fix it, i’m open to surgery.
Answer: I Recommend Rhinoplasty + Hairline Lowering | Facial Plastic Surgery Expert | Male Nosejob Dorsal Hump Forehead | Beverly Hills Hello and thank you for your question and the picture. Your main concerns can be addressed with surgery for your nose and your forehead- these will properly improve your overall facial balance, especially from your side profile. Regarding your NOSE: Addressing the shape of your nose (especially the nasal tip) is actually one of the most common reasons people seek out and undergo a rhinoplasty. An open septorhinoplasty can best address both your aesthetic concerns and any functional issues with your nose. I would be able to adjust the size, shape, and definition of your nose (especially the bridge and the tip)! This truly a surgery of millimeters- and whether you're looking for a minor adjustment or a major transformation, it requires exceptional surgical skill to achieve functional and natural-looking results! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in male rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading male rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). Regarding your FOREHEAD/HAIRLINE: You are describing a "high forehead"- an above average distance from your eyebrows to your hairline. Unfortunately some people just have this due to either anatomy or genetics. The good news is I can correct it with a "hairline lowering surgery"- where I bring your hairline down so it is closer to your eyebrows- the results (in the right hands) look very natural and significantly improve your facial harmony/balance! I also trained under a world-renowned master of complex facial aesthetics, and I wrote the plastic surgery textbook chapter on male aesthetic procedures! I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with both male rhinoplasties and complex hairline lowering surgeries) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I hope this helps! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Rhinoplasty to improve nasal shape... Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. The bump can be taken down and your tip reshaped so it doesn't look droopy, all while keeping a natural male appearance. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

Answer: Rhinoplasty and brow lift You have a large dorsal hump on the nose and this can be refined by taking it down using a rhinoplasty. Also, you would benefit from a brow lift at the hairline. Your forehead is quite long and this will lower the hairline and pull up the eyebrows. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Achieving Facial Balance Through the Nose Recognizing the key elements that define profile harmony is the first step toward achieving your aesthetic goals—thank you for this thoughtful question. Facial balance, especially in the side profile, largely depends on the relationship between the nose and chin. In your particular case, your chin position appears well-balanced, and the primary concern seems to lie with your nose shape and projection. A carefully planned rhinoplasty would be the ideal procedure to enhance your profile harmony, addressing the specific nasal issues while complementing your existing chin structure. I encourage you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon who can develop a personalized surgical plan tailored specifically to your needs. Best of luck on your aesthetic journey!

Answer: You appear to have a deep Radix and an overprojected nose appearance. The Radix of the nose is the area where your nose meets your forehead. That area is deep so there is the appearance of a dorsal hump. The lower 2/3 of your nose sticks out a bit too far from your face which leads to the appearance of a dorsal hump, and an overall distracting nasal appearance. If you have severe dissatisfaction with the appearance of your nose, please consider meeting with several reputable rhinoplasty specialists so you could see what to achieve after surgery. Thank you for this question! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
