Hi I am thinking about having breast augmentation But I'm worried that I will lose the bounce I have got if I have breast enlargement or augmentation will it loose the bounce in my boobs or will it be better or the same kind regards Hollie
Answer: Increasing bounce If you want to increase your bounce: Silicone implants feel more like natural breast tissue whereas saline implants tend to have more waviness and bounce more when jumping or running especially in those with small breasts.See a board certified plastic surgeon for best advice.

Answer: Smooth round silicone behind the muscle In our experience the most natural looking implants end up being smooth round silicone placed behind the muscle. They feel & behave the most like real breast tissue. The firmest and most artificial looking implants are typically saline placed above the muscle.

Answer: Retaining the natural bounce If you use smooth round saline implants you will have the bounce you are looking for. The silicone implants will not bounce. Under no circumstances should you ever choose an implant placed just behind your breasts (on top of the muscle). Implants placed behind the muscle by a surgeon with education, technical skill, and experience will give you bounce.

Answer: Bounce Should you choose a soft implant placed just behind your breasts, you will probably keep the same "bounce." However, if you choose an implant placed behind the muscle, or a firmer gummy bear implant, you will probably see less bounce. If you are very small with tight skin and choose a large implant, it also may not bounce much. Bouncing is also more chance of sagging. I would suggest meeting with a plastic surgeon and discussing all your concerns.

Answer: Breast augmentation losing the "bounce" Thank you for your question. The answer to this question is more than a simple yes or no. It all depends on how much breast tissue you currently have, how much skin laxity you currently have and what size implant you choose. If you have a very small breast and tight skin and choose a large implant, there will not be as much "natural bounce". The breast will be a bit tight because of the implant. However, the opposite situation would be more "bouncy", if you had a fair amount of breast tissue and loose skin with a smaller size implant.
