My doctor left me with my results and they left me with no direction on what to do or where to go from here. All they said was to get my levels normalized and then I can have surgery. My AST was 197, my ALT was 289, and my ALK Phosphate was 588. What could cause my levels to be so high and is there a natural way to normalize these levels?

Answer: I was denied breast augmentation surgery for elevated liver levels. Are there any natural ways to bring these levels down? There are many reasons why your liver enzymes may be elevated. Your best course of action: seek consultation ASAP with your family practitioner, an internist, or a gastroenterologist specialist. Making a correct diagnosis would allow for an appropriate treatment plan. Do not try to "naturally" normalize the levels. Best wishes.
