I had very little breast tissue and was very flat chested before surgery. My BWD is 17 and I had 700cc silicone mod plus implants placed under the muscle. My pre op size was 38A now a 38DD. another woman said the placement of my implants is wrong & they look funny and are to high. my PS said my muscles are still tight and I need to stretch. Is my PS right? I just need to stretch more? how long do I stretch for? Best stretches to help?
Answer: 4 months post op. some advices: Thanks for the question. In my practice, after performing a BA I recommend to my patients to limit the movement of the arms for two weeks. After that, you can move your arms taking care and always with common sense. In this regard, it's not advisable to carry heavy weights to prevent the implant out of position, and allow the formation of the physiological capsule around the implant, also to avoid pain and breast swelling. Kind regards

Answer: High implants After four months, it is very unlikely that your implants will drop to an acceptable position. There is no harm to try massage and a breast band for another few months, but I would not get your hopes up. Rather, discuss revision options with your plastic surgeon. Your breast fold needs to be lowered to accommodate such a large implant.Best of luck!Dr. SubbioBoard-Certified Plastic SurgeonNewtown Square/Philadelphia, PA

Answer: Thanks for your question. A proper response can only be provided after evaluating you in person. That being said, from your photos it appears that your implants are too high. A tight elastic bandeau pushing downward might be helpful. If this is not effective, I am afraid you may need revision surgery. If your plastic surgeon disagrees and you remain concerned or displeased, I recommend a second opinion by an experienced board certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck to you.

Answer: I am 4 months post op. Stretches to help implants drop? Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. I see your areas of concern and unfortunately only time will tell how much your implants will drop and fluff. With a combination of large implants and tight skin envelope to begin, your results are having difficulty in maturing. This is causing your implants to ride very high on your chest. This may slowly correct itself with time as the lower portion of your breasts stretch but if you still see little change in another 1-2 months, a surgical revision would be required to achieve a more natural shape. Hope this helps.

Answer: I am 4 months post op. Stretches to help implants drop? I agree that you should meet with your plastic surgeon and discuss breast implant displacement exercises, pectoralis muscle contraction exercises and possibly a Bando to help push her implants lower. You have very large implants which may be part of the problem. If they do not drop further by 6 months a revision to release the lower pocket may be necessary. Please follow-up with your plastic surgeon.
