The photo you present is a little fuzzy, so it is hard to tell exactly the skin/tissue thickness. Otherwise I would achieve the desired effect by using a cartilage graft (taken from inside your nose) to reshape the tip. Some surgeons prefer to insert the cartilage graft through the inside of the nostril, but I find that method less precise, so I typically use an "open" approach by lifting the skin over the tip to get the exact shape/angle/placement needed.
hi German girl. The type of tip you are looking for requires 3 things. First you need very nonglandular and thin skin. Second you need strong and well defined cartilages (can be surgically made that way). Third you may require an additional cartilage graft in the tip to creat extra definition (also can be done with surgery). If any of those 3 things are not present or not done you won't get the sharpening effect you are looking for. Good luck in finding someone to do your revision. It's not a very complicated request.
The tip cartimages would need to be redefined to make the tip more pointy. Another good technique is to place a tip/shield graft which will provide a definition you desire.
A sharper nasal tip with definition and refinement can be achieved by removing a portion of the lower lateral cartilage. The can be performed with closed or open rhinoplasty.Consult a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
Hi German Girl,Assuming that your nose is far beyond the healing period, it is apparent that you have a relatively thick skin at the nasal tip with supra tip swelling which is usually caused by residual cartilaginous hump or excess soft tissue, or the spring like effect of your thick glandular tissue. All these problems lead to a blunt, round tip look with lesser definition. Fortunately, all these issues can be corrected by refinement tipplasty which may include touch-up cartilaginous hump or soft tissue removal, thinning out the skin, and septal shield tip graft preferably with open rhinoplasty.
Hi,Yes, you do need a good work to be done on your tip.Just find a good PS near you.Wish you good luck.

Dear Sheelen, In the above photos I cannot see your earlobe so it is difficult to comment on that. A profile view of the nose would be helpful. From the photographs above I see no reason to add cartilage to your nose. You need a rhinoplasty with your tip cartilage reduced. There are no slimming...
Closed rhinoplasty is less invasive than open rhinoplasty, and patients heal much faster with less swelling. All of the incisions are placed inside the nose, so there is not a visible scar on the columella. The delivery approach does not distort the cartilages since they're only exposed t...
