I have a fluid filled sac with a drain placed at my left jaw line. However, the suction drain stopped working but my PS wants it to remain in place as it is an outlet for now for the fluid buildup (although very messy) He has ordered an amylase test. But isn't it possible to tell whether the fluid is from a seroma or a parotid leak by its location. I am on a patch awaiting test results.
