Chest x-ray revealed mild hyperinflation without focal infiltrate. What does that mean? Will this cause an issue during surgery?

My pre-op Chest x-ray reveled mild hyperinflation without focal infiltrate . What does that mean? I had smoked for many years and had quit about two years ago. I do notice when I'm working out hard and only hard, I feel like I should cough . It almost feels like I have something stuck. During regular activity I don't feel any different. Will this cause an issue during surgery?
