When I was little, I hit my face on the corner of a book shelf right between my eyebrows. I believe that is how my septum got deviated. My septum sticks out of my nostril, I have low self confidence and want to know if septoplasty will fix my crooked nose, also help with my smile at all?
Answer: Septoplasty in your case Thank you for your pictures! A septoplasty will only address the septum - meaning that the inner part of the nose will be straightened and improve your breathing. As far as improving the straightness of the nose and definition, you would need a septorhinoplasty to address both the issues as your problem also involves the bony pyramid. In regards to the lower face and mid face, a septoplasty would not address these. As you are already under the care of an orthodontist, I would discuss with them the possibility of orthognathic surgery for functional and cosmetic reasons. You would get the most benefit for both purposes from that particular intervention. I hope some of this helps! Best of luck.

Answer: Facial and nasal symmetry It certainly appears that the bottom of your septum is very crooked and this can also make your nose appear crooked as well. In addition, with a crooked nose it can make your face appear asymmetrical as well. A complete septorhinoplasty may be indicated to improve the concerns you have about your nose. I would recommend consultation with a facial plastic surgeon in your area.

Answer: Septoplasty All of us have asymmetries in our face from side to side. It is normal and what helps make each of us unique. You do have a very deviated caudal septum. A septoplasty with rhinoplasty will straighten and refine your nose and correct the base view asymmetry. It will not change the other asymmetries of your smile and face.

Answer: Will septolasty fix my crooked face? No, a septoplasty will not fix your Crooked face. The septoplasty procedure will only address improvement of airflow through the nose and fix the caudal septal deviation at your nostril, which should make them more symmetrical.

Answer: Septoplasty is the start Thanks for posting your question. You should investigate a septo-rhinoplasty. A septoplasty is a fix of the internal septum. Your entire bony and septal framework is deviated and should be corrected. I do believe this will improve your aesthetic. I think this in combination with your orthodontics will improve your symmetry. Overall and despite the asymmetry, you are pretty with many beautiful features. Hopefully, you can see the beautiful forest and not focus on a few unsavory trees. Best of luck from NYC.
