Hit my nose pretty badly 3 weeks after septoplasty, what are the chances I've ruined it?

A friend of mine went to lift their head as I was looking at them and the back of their head collided with mine causing my nose to bleed for about 10 minutes and I was intense pain afterwards. A day later I still have tenderness and pain and when I rinse my nose with water there's a stinging pain. Plus I think I'm developing bruising where my original deiviation was before surgery. What are the chances I'll need a second surgery to fix my nose??

I would recommend following up with your physician.  A collision like you described can cause soft tissue injury and bruising, but there's no way to know how the septum is affected except by evaluating it directly. I would try to keep ice on the area to help the inflammation subside in the meantime.  It would be a good idea to give your physician a call to have an intranasal examination to check. Best of Luck
