Can lip augmentation give me the heart shaped lips I like? (photos)

Question

I have a wide and flat mouth. Is it possible for an augmentation to give me soft, natural-looking heart shaped lips? Pic of myself and the shapes i like included. Thank you

Most doctors will start with one-syringe to avoid overfilling. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. Your lips are nicely shaped and full, but you could add more volume and height to the peaks of your upper lip and plump up the center of your bottom lip, too, with a hyaluronic-acid base filler such as Volbella or Belotero. These changes would create a more heart-shaped look. This added volume will also detract somewhat from the width of your lips. While you won’t look exactly like your ideal, you’ll be a lot closer to it. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will let you explore your options and get a better idea of what your final results will be.

You appear to be a candidate for lip fillers. Lip augmentations with fillers is a great option to improve the fullness, suppleness and symmetry of the lips. Results can be very natural-looking and will feel very natural. I prefer to use a micro cannula to inject the lips to prevent bruising. Look for a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is an expert in fillers to discuss your desired results and concerns and go over the cost of your procedure.

Hello and thank you for your question.  A lip augmentation is a cosmetic procedure that uses an injectable dermal filler to enhance the appearance of your lips. The procedure is designed for anyone who is not satisfied with the appearance of the lips, and for patients who want more appealing, plumper lips.  From the pictures you sent it looks like you are a good candidate for Lip Augmentation.  
Hyaluronic acid filers such as Juvederm are used to create fuller lips. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar that gives the skin its natural elasticity and volume. Like collagen, hyaluronic acid decreases over time, and skin begins to lose its volume. An ultra-fine needle is used to inject the material into the lips and along the edge of the lips to make your lips fuller and plumper.
