I have big chunks of buccal fat on my face and I want to remove it to keep that area from sagging (from the weight of buccal fat). But I heard that during a face lift, it helps to have buccal fat; something to the effect of the doctor will use buccal fat to hook and pull. If so, it sounds like I shouldn’t remove buccal fat until face lift or at least I should leave some of it to make future face lifts easier. Is this true? If so, how much should I leave?
