Fat transfer to the breasts can be an effective form of breast augmentation for up to one cup size increase. 200 cc per breast is typically the upper limit of fat injection recommended by most plastic surgeons. It is not that more cannot be injected; but on average, this has been determined to be the most that can be expected to live during one transfer. Multiple transfers would be required for additional cc's. In general, the abdomen and thighs are preferred donor sites but fat from other areas can be used.
Thinner patients are outstanding candidates in my opinion, because the fat transferred is extremely resistant. Results are largely dependent upon the skill of the surgeon, his/her ability to remove fat without creating contour deformities, and your expectations.

Viability of fat in the breasts will give an individual about a 1/2 a cup size in volume. If this something you would want then speak to your plastic surgeon about your options. Consider finding wish pics of what you would like to look like with a person who has a similar frame.

Your breasts would certainly benefit from fat grafting,provided that you have sufficient fat to graft

Unless you have some donor fat lower down, you will need implants for your best results. With fat, at best you will get up to about half to one cup.

It appears that you are very fit. In order to fat graft the breast we need remove excess fat and place in the breast. Do you have areas with excess fat?
The results from fat grafting are very modest. I would find a PS that has experience in this procedure.

Breast fat transfer can deliver about a 50% breast size increase. Most patients report this to be about one half to one cup in regards to actual bra size.

The procedure has very little impact on the shape of the breast simply makes them larger. and that sense it is a very natural aesthetic outcome.

By far the most important decision is finding the most experienced and talented provider for this procedure.

Delivering consistent high-quality results for both Liposuction and fat transfer is far more difficult than people believe.

This is true for both plastic surgeons and patients.

I cannot emphasize this point strongly enough.

The most common area to harvest fat is treating the torso. Personally I treat the entire Torso as a single anatomic unit in order to leave people with an even natural fat distribution. A full torso includes upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles, waist, full back and under arms. for breast fat transfer it’s really important that the under arm and chest is Liposuctioned carefully exactly to the breast margins.

Fat can be harvested from any part of the body but treating the toy cell is most common and including the abdomen, back and under arms complements breast fat transfer nicely.

Finding the most experienced and talented provider is easier said than done.

A few things to keep in mind.

Personally I believe patients should avoid virtual consultations as much as possible.

Liposuction is permanent and irreversible. When done poorly it leaves people disfigured.

Being bored certified in plastic surgery with an overall good reputation is insufficient to confirm that a provider has truly mastered liposuction or fat transfer.

When reviewing before and after pictures always confirm that after pictures were taken at least three months from the date of the procedure.

Early postoperative results look very impressive but do not by any stretch represent final results.

The following is a list of general recommendations for those seeking cosmetic surgery. It is especially appropriate for those considering Liposuction and fat transfer.

1. I recommend patients avoid traveling long distances for elective surgical procedures. There are of course instances where there is a lack of local talent and traveling to some degree is inevitable. If traveling for the procedure patients should be ready to travel to have the consultation, post operative appointments and follow up should there be issues or complications.
Patients sometimes do not appreciate the importance of in person consultations, that complications do happen or the number of people who have issues with their results or need revisions.

2. Schedule multiple consultations with different providers in your area who seem to have a good reputation for the procedure you’re interested in. Starting with at least five consultations seems like a reasonable number to me.

3. Whenever possible schedule in person consultations.
4. During in person consultations ask each plastic surgeon to show all of their before and after pictures for the procedure you’re interested in.

The goal is not to see the best results of their career but to get an idea of what average results look like and get some type of confirmation of how many of these procedures that provider has performed.

Ask to see results that were not as good as the doctor would’ve hoped for and talk about the differences in outcomes.

Honest and experienced providers should have no problems presenting this type of information.

A highly experienced plastic surgeon will have hundreds of before and after pictures for the procedure you’re interested in. A provider should be able to show you a minimum at least 30+

5. Read all the reviews on various physician review websites paying close attention and avoiding providers with any significant number of justified negative reviews. Providers with an abundance of reviews often have aggressive marketing campaigns.

The plastic surgeons I respect most all have the single variable of not having justified negative reviews on their online profiles.
In my opinion justified negative reviews are far more telling than an abundance of positive reviews.

6. Avoid scheduling for surgery or making a deposit on the day of the consultation. Give yourself some time to think about the decision and make sure you finished all scheduled consultations before committing to having surgery that will permanently and irreversibly change your body.

When in doubt slow down and schedule more consultations.

Choosing the right plastic surgeon is the single most important variable to having a positive experience.

7. Don’t go chasing after technology or names of certain equipment. Instead focus all your efforts on finding the most experienced and talented board-certified plastic surgeon.
