I got a non surgical nose job done to fill a dip at the top of my nose and to lift the tip of my nose because it goes down. I like the results however I still feel that my tip of my nose is still going down and isn’t at straight and upward as I want it to go. Is it safe to get more filler to lift the tip some more or do I need to wait the 6 months?
Answer: Lifting the tip of the nose Thank you for your question. You may want to wait for final results to be seen, but then you can absolutely add more filler. We perform something called a nose lift, specifically designed to lift the tip of the nose. Nose lifts involve using dermal fillers to lift the tip of the nose, so it’s not quite as down-turned. Depending on each individual case, your doctor may inject Botox several days prior to the nose lift to reduce the muscle function under the tip. Then, dermal fillers are placed between the medial crura. This technique is similar to that used in a traditional rhinoplasty, where grafts are used to support the tip of the nose. In this case, fillers act as the support. The result is pleasant, especially when you smile.Be sure to consult with a skilled and experienced injector.

Answer: You can discuss a touch up with your doctor. How long ago did you have your treatment? If you were slightly under corrected, I do not think it is unreasonable to have a small amount of filler added. Generally, however, injectable fillers are not very helpful for achieving a lifted nasal tip appearance. At some point, you may desire rhinoplasty surgery for tip elevation and bridge lowering for a smaller, less distracting, and more feminine nasal appearance. I hope this helps and thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Answer: Non-surgical nose job Hi there! Thank you for your question. As long as you wait 2-4 weeks after your initial treatment you can have a top up to improve your results. I always offer top-ups to my patients who have non-surgical rhinoplasty as it can be an area that needs tweaking after your first treatment. Hope this helps! Best Wishes Dr. Rupert

Answer: Non-Surgical Nose Job Results--(voluma, restylane, juvederm) I would wait a full two weeks before assessing whether you need more filler. If it's after two weeks, you can get a touch-up. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Nose Job It is no more or less safe to get more filler than it was to have it placed in the first procedure. I often need to retouch noses as the product settles and requires more filler to "boost" the first procedure. Injecting the nose, however, can never be deemed "safe" as there are rare catastophic events that can occur such as injecting product into a blood vessel, leading to tissue necrosis or blindness.
