What if I can't remove all my piercings?

I have a VCH (Clit hood) piercing that I can't remove. I have breast augmentation surgery tomorrow and I just attempted to remove it and can't get the little ball off. I also don't want it to close up, since it is a fairly new piercing. What happens if i leave it in?

and as the other have said, piercings should not pose any problem for procedures.  You should let your surgeon know so there are no surprises.

It should always be possible to remove a piercing cutting one end off. If you don't want to risk closure, then you can use a plastic retainer which is safe for surgery. If you really don't want to remove your piercing, Coverin it with tape for the procedure should be enough, but do inform your surgeon of your decision.

Please inform your physician and the nurse on the morning of surgery.This should be OK even if it is left in, but check with them for sure.

It is common to do surgery on patients with piercings and there is no concern unless you have an infection or the piercing is in the area of the surgery. Just make sure to inform your surgeon.
