I’ve had this weird smile since I was a kid. My lips are always down turned except when I smile with my mouth closed. Also, when I smile I get a line below my nose. I don’t want to do any type of filler. I want a permanent option. I want to smile like a normal person. Also wondering if there is a surgery to get a Cupid’s bow as mine is not really there

I would recommend holding off. Depending on the type of jaw surgery you had, you still may be swollen at this time. At 20 days there still is a bit of residual swelling present. If you are determined to proceed with filler I would urge your practitioner to under, rather than overtreat.

I would absolutely have another cortisone injection and hold off on any surgery. Surgery tends to leave scars, even when you repair a scar which is what is called a scar revision. Please consult an expert in scars for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
