The lower extremity is prone to have flaccid skin if liposuction is performed too aggressively. Speak to your surgeon about undergoing more lipo.  It is not uncommon for patients to want more liposuction on areas that were previously treated as weight will fluctuate. Best, DR. Thanks for the question, I would suggest seeing your original doctor, it looks like you have a nice symmetric result and could either really give diet and exercise a go or have another similar procedure

You are a great candidate for lipocontouring, but should only go to someone who specializes in these areas.  My practice is dedicated to this type of procedure and we use a combination of techninques to get the best results.  I suggest an in person or skype consultation with an expert.  Tumescent technique has very low downtime and can give you the body/shape you want.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thanks for your question and thanks for the photos. After one year you do have some nice results as a result of your first liposuction procedure. Are you a candidate for a second procedure — you are. You can have lipo or laser lipo, especially for the areas around the calves and ankle areas. Make sure that you are comfortable with your surgeon and best of luck with the next procedure, which I hope takes care of all the rest of the concerns.

I think you have a reasonable result from your first liposuction session, but you could certainly benefit from a second session.  Sometimes it is better to sneak up on a result than try to hit a homerun the first time

Your results look fairly typical.Most surgeons show the most impressive before-and-after pictures when demonstrating their work.Doing excess of liposuction can lead to skin irregularities. This is especially true for inner thighs. When that happens, it's often irreversible.There's a saying that goes, "The enemy of good is perfect." It sometimes applies to cosmetic surgery.You may be a candidate for more liposuction. It requires an in-person consultation to make a formal assessment.Many surgeons do not like to perform liposuction of calves and ankles.It can be technically challenging, and some patients develop long-term pain and swelling.My personal experience has been very high patient satisfaction with liposuction of calves and ankles when patients are selected appropriately.We are fairly stringent on criteria for surgery and avoid operating if we do not believe patients will have great outcomes.I suggest you start by following up with your plastic surgeon and consider a second opinion.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.
