I would like to know if there’s other ways to get rid of my excess skin around my neck, and also a chin reduction treatment. I would love to know the cost, if getting a procedure like this would affect my skin the future, any recommended places to visit, and lastly the healing process. I’m not familiar with plastic surgery, I’ve never gotten anything done... I would like to know if this would affect my health in any way? Thank you!

Answer: Chin Contouring with VASER, ThermiRF, Coolsculpting, Kybella, Thermage, Ultherapy, Exilis I find that VASER liposuction in combination with ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin in those who are candidates but Kybella can be used as an alternative and gets better results when combined with thermage/ultherapy/exilis or coolsculpting. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Neck Liposuction Jasmine. It appears from your photograph that you would be an excellent candidate for micro liposuction of the neck to contour the area quite nicely. In this technique, small cannulas are used to allow the plastic surgeon to sculpt the neck region by removing the fat. It is still the gold standard for treatment of fat in the neck region. Kybella is an injectable that dissolves fat from the submental region, however requires at least two treatments and final results take over six months to be realized. It is not nearly as effective as liposuction, in my opinion.I am not certain exactly what you mean by chin reduction, however you should consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to explore the best options for you. This can be comfortably, safely, and reliable done under local anesthesia for a reasonable price. Chin reduction surgery requires bone removal and jaw manipulation an oral surgeon may be best for this
